Passers-by help the injured motorcyclist and passenger
A three-vehicle accident occurred in Sai Kung yesterday (28/5) evening around 6:00 when a Tesla car, a motorcycle and a green minibus were driving along Hiram’s Highway near Pak Sha Wan, Sai Kung in the direction of Kowloon. The Tesla stopped suddenly and the motorbike was sandwiched between the car and a green minibus following. The motorcycle overturned and both the motorcyclist and a male passenger fell to the ground and were injured.
Passing drivers saw the incident and reported it to emergency services, with some passers-by coming forward to assist in the situation. Ambulancemen were called to the scene, bandaged the two injured men, and sent them to the hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident remains to be further investigated.
The Transport Department announced that due to the traffic accident, one-lane traffic measures were implemented on Hiram’s Highway until the road had been cleared.
