Woman hospitalised after being bitten by a snake while camping in Sai Kung

Late last night (4/11) around 11:00 pm, police received a report that a woman camping in Chek Keng, Sai Kung, was bitten on the foot by a snake. She felt dizzy afterwards, so she called her friends who were travelling with her to report the matter for help.

Emergency services arrived at the campsite by boat and the 51-year-old victim was brought back to Wong Shek Pier where a Government Flying Service helicopter took her to the Eastern District Hospital for treatment.
