Basalt Island, Sai Kung
Yesterday afternoon (1/4), a woman’s body was found on the rocky beach of Lam Wan in Basalt Island (Fo Shek Chau), Sai Kung. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene after receiving the report and confirmed that the female body had become mummified. There was no identification document on her body. Her cause of death and identity need to be determined by further investigation.
The case is temporarily classified as body discovery and will be handed over to Team 5 of the Wong Tai Sin Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. The body was taken to the police base opposite Sai Kung and then taken away by police truck.
