SPCA opens new Adopt-A-Pet Centre in Sai Kung

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) (SPCA) has announced an “Adoption Date” event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 22 June 2024, at the recently renovated SPCA Sai Kung Adopt-A-Pet Centre.

After an extensive two-month renovation, the SPCA Sai Kung Adopt-A-Pet Centre has undergone a remarkable transformation, now offering enhanced adoption services. The ground floor now features an expanded dog adoption area with spacious kennels, providing a comfortable living environment for the rescue dogs. Moreover, the first floor is now dedicated to cat adoptions. The Centre is open from Monday to Sunday, welcoming visitors from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm.

In the heart of Sai Kung, the SPCA Sai Kung Adopt-A-Pet Centre presents an ideal opportunity for visitors to find their perfect canine companions. To celebrate the Centre’s reopening, the SPCA has organised an “Adoption Date” event on 22 June. Cat and dog lovers are invited to visit the Centre and meet the adorable animals eagerly awaiting their forever homes. As an exclusive highlight, some delightful puppies still in foster care will be making a special appearance, available for adoption on the day!

As part of the festivities, the SPCA will be giving away 100 foldable pet water bowls on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the SPCA’s limited-edition “Hello Kitty! Hello SPCA!” merchandise at the Centre.
