A woman was hit by a minibus near Pak Sha Wan sent to the hospital for treatment with head injuries

A traffic accident occurred in Sai Kung last night (19/6), around 8:00 pm, when a No. 9 red minibus travelling along Hiram’s Highway towards Sai Kung from Kwun Tong hit a 69-year-old woman when it was near the Pak Sha Wan Fisherman’s Village garbage station.

The victim was assisted by many members of the public

The woman fell to the ground with a head injury and was trapped for a time. It is reported that she regained consciousness and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident. At the scene, there were brake marks on the ground seeming to indicate that the driver did not stop in time. The minibus driver was present to assist in the investigation. A tow truck then towed the minibus away for further inspection.
