Domestic helper bitten by a 1.5 metre snake in Wong Chuk Wan, Sai Kung; sent to hospital for treatment

Friday afternoon (12/7), a 42-year-old domestic helper was bitten on the foot by a brown snake about 1.5 metres long in Wong Chuk Wan Village, Sai Kung. Ambulance personnel arrived at the scene after she had fallen down a slope after feeling dizzy.

She was conscious and sent to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin for treatment. There is no information on the snake species.
