Head-on crash damages two cars on Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung; drivers hospitalised

Around 7:40 am this morning (22/7), two cars collided head-on on Tai Mong Tsai Road near Tai Wan Village, Sai Kung. It was reported that one of the private cars was emitting smoke. Both drivers were slightly injured. Ambulance personnel arrived at the scene and the injured were sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.

Pictures from the scene show that the two cars collided head-on, with the fronts of both cars damaged, and one of the cars was on the opposite side of the road. Firefighters and police officers worked together to move private cars across the round-trip line. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Traffic was delayed in both direction for about an hour
