Traffic along Hiram’s Highway was blocked this morning when a cement lorry overturned at Nam Pin Wai roundabout in Sai Kung.
Around 10:30 am this morning (19/8), the driver of a cement lorry lost control at the Nam Pin Wai roundabout on Hiram’s Highway. It rolled over when it entered the roundabout. It was reported that the driver was trapped in the cab for a time, but fortunately he was not seriously injured , and then climbed out on his own.
Emergency services personnel are at the scene investigating the cause of the accident, and traffic at the scene has been disrupted for some time with the southbound carriageway of Hiram’s Highway closed.
