Car and taxi collide on Sai Sha Road, Sai Kung near Sai Keng Village; traffic delayed in both directions

A traffic accident occurred on Sai Sha Road, Sai Kung around 10:00 am this morning (18/8).

The car driver was suspected of having lost control on the wet road near Sai Keng Village, and slid, crossing the dividing line, colliding head-on with a taxi coming in the other direction. The fronts of both vehicles were damaged, but fortunately no one was injured in the incident.

Traffic in both directions was affected by the accident, with both lanes blocked near Sai Keng Village. Later, traffic was restricted to a single-lane, causing heavy traffic congestion all the way from Sai Kung to Ma On Shan.
