14-year-old boy bitten by wild boar while camping in Sai Kung

Yesterday morning (12/7), a 14-year-old boy was bitten by a wild boar while camping with friends at Sai Wan Campsite in Tai Long Wan, Sai Kung. A wild boar suddenly broke into the camp, bit the boy’s left foot and then fled. His friends who were with him reported the incident.

The teenager was conscious as he was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital. His four other friends who joined him on the camping trip were unharmed.

A police spokeswoman said officers had found no trace of the animal after the incident.
