Sai Kung Councillor Christine Fong has posted information on her social media concerning the closure of the footpath along Yi Chun Street, Sai Kung.
Concrete fell from the canopy earlier today (7/6) but luckily passers-by were not injured. Police closed the pavement and Building Department officers immediately arrived and observed, and recommended hiring qualified persons to check and repair the canopy.
According to Christine, the owner was also very cooperative and immediately hired qualified persons and contractors to follow up on the site.
