An update on the current situation at the Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation shelter in Tai Lam Wu has been posted on social media by Narelle Pamuk.
Too sad…too emotional…feeling defeated and tired of going through the same motions and emotions over and over again….
The loss of Chocco , high medical expenses, and now damage caused to our shelter by Typhoon Wipha … the outside enclosures roofing blown away and newly purchased fans are water logged…we still haven’t been in a financial position to replace roofing to an inner enclosure from previous typhoon .. our water supply pump up the mountain has washed away so we have no water at shelter and my vehicle has a flat tyre on Ho Chung Road
The idiom “don’t kick a dog when it’s down” means shouldn’t make things worse for someone who is already struggling or in a difficult situation
More work, more expense.. scream!!
Keep reaching for a rainbow..
Jeff Bezos wedding extravaganza has dominated social media newsfeed, I read the posts… just wish he would read mine
