O Pui Village, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung
A burglary occurred in Clear Water Bay around 9:22 am yesterday morning (7/10). Police received a report that a detached house in O Pui Village, Mang Kung Uk Road, had been burgled. The door lock had been pried open and there were signs of ransacking inside the house.
Upon arrival, officers conducted a preliminary investigation and believe a quantity of gold and jewellery was stolen from the unit. The 48-year-old Filipina householder lost approximately $300,000 worth of property. The case is being classified as burglary and is being handled by the Tseung Kwan O District Criminal Investigation Unit 6.
