Burglary in Silver Crest Road, Sai Kung nets valuables estimated at $5 million

Around 11:00 am this morning (3/10) a domestic helper at a detached house in Silver Crest Road in Clear Water Bay reported a suspected burglary. She had discovered the home in disarray, with a safe forcibly opened, and alerted her employer, who called the police. 

Police officers responded and reviewed nearby CCTV footage, including footage from a dash cam of a nearby parked car, to investigate the incident and track down the suspects. A preliminary count by the homeowner estimated the loss of approximately HK$5 million worth of property.
