Sai Kung village house burgled, HK$120,000 in cash stolen

A village house in Sai Kung was burgled last night (28/10), with approximately HK$120,000 in cash reported stolen.

Police received a report at 7:21pm from a 66-year-old man who suspected his residence on Tai Mong Tsai Road in Tsam Chuk Wan had been broken into.

Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving a report and found that a window of the village house had been pried open, and there were signs of ransacking inside. A preliminary count suggests that approximately HK$120,000 in cash was stolen. The case has been classified as a burglary and is being followed up by the Wong Tai Sin District Criminal Investigation Team. No arrests have been made so far.
