
Mok Tse Che Village, Sai Kung
A burglary occurred in Sai Kung yesterday evening (2/11). Around 8:00 pm, police received a report that the window of a village house on Mok Tse Che Road had been opened and there were signs of ransacking inside. Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate and assisted the 62-year-old female resident in taking stock of the losses. It was initially discovered that approximately HK$150,000 worth of jewellery and seven watches (worth approximately HK$150,000) were missing from the house, totaling approximately HK$300,000 in property losses.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a window inside the village house was suspected of being pried open. Police have classified the case as a burglary and handed it over to the Wong Tai Sin District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. No arrests have been made.
