Another Sunday, another race event, and another traffic advisory. The Po Leung Kuk Charity Run will start at 8:30 am and members of the public are advised that the section of Tai Mong Tsai Road between the entrance of the Po Leung Kuk Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp and the exit of Pak Tam Chung Bus Terminus will be intermittently closed from 8:30 am to 8:50 am on 27 January 2019.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangement will be made by the Police depending on-site traffic conditions at the time. Affected motorists are advised to drive with utmost care. Motorists should exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion and observe the instruction given by the Police.
The race will have three sections indicated on the map below:
3km Race (Pink colour) – Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp >Tai Mong Tsai Road>Sai Kung Man Yee Road & MacLehose Trail Stage 1 (till Roundabout)>back to Pak Tam Chung P.H.A.B. Site
10km Race (Orange colour) – Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp >Tai Mong Tsai Road>Sai Kung Man Yee Road & MacLehose Trail Stage 1>High Island Reservoir West Dam>back to Pak Tam Chung P.H.A.B. Site
Half marathon Race (Purple colour) – Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp >Tai Mong Tsai Road>Sai Kung Man Yee Road & MacLehose Trail Stage 1>High Island Reservoir East Dam>back to Pak Tam Chung P.H.A.B. Site
