Relief resources are distributed in Tai Po Photo: Kyle Lam/HKFP
Having spoken with the Police, the Home Affairs Tai Po section, and several NGOs on the ground, all have adequate volunteers and resources. There is no need for additional clothing donations. The operation is about to enter the recovery and investigation phase, while most affected residents are relocating to temporary accommodation.
It is expected that the Fire Services will reduce their presence as the Police take over the site for the investigation. The area is crowded with closed roads and a large cordon in place. Police advised people to avoid driving to the area.
Ad-hoc drop-off points for food and drink donations are in operation. I have identified the best location as the cordon line across the cycle track shown below. This site is only accessible by bicycle or on foot. People are bringing food and drink using trolleys. The fire crews have an adjacent list area and will take items as needed.

Here is a link to the location on Google Maps https://maps.app.goo.gl/yVskkbt91pMJ44EKA
There are no drop-off points for vehicles in the area. You need to either walk in from Tai Po Industrial Estate or the Science Park area. However, the situation is fluid, and the roads may open or close as needed.
Blood Donations: I’ve spoken to the Hong Kong Red Cross. They have enough blood donations for now, but ask that people wait for further announcements in the coming days.
Donations to the Red Cross may be made through the following link. The Red Cross is assisting 150 vulnerable families from the fire. https://share.google/X8J8ZezimLp4ZDIqE
Long Term; It is suggested that those who wish to assist make donations to either an NGO or a government fund of their choice. The following is for guidance;
