This post is one I want to share with everyone! Its just so beautiful! Demi is the name I gave him, the dog who had a miserable existence chained in the thick of demolition waste, no shelter and no freedom. BUZZ reported his story on 26 October.

A couple responded, and posted on our Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation Facebook page feeling very sensitive to Demi’s situation, and volunteered to help walk Demi on a regular basis… which they have done.

I only needed to do one walk with them and Demi for the introduction and it was almost immediate bonding. Demi was so excited when it was time to go for a walk with them, and today is the first day of a life that we just never thought would ever be possible.

No more chain, a car ride to his new life, a real home, new canine accepting friends and what he was so needy of, love!

As I write this post I feel like I am writing a fiction story tale! I sincerely thank this caring couple and truly admire their compassion and big hearts.

Demi’s chance to have a better life needs recognition of my rescue colleague Debbie Chow for exposing this case for help. Wow… this is just the most unbelievable outcome.
