A traffic accident occurred in Sai Kung around 8:20 pm last night (8/12), when a the driver of a car travelling along Hiram’s Highway towards Kowloon lost control and it overturned near Ta Kwu Ling San Tsuen. The driver was initially trapped, but managed to climb out of the car and escape unharmed.
As shown on social media the black Mercedes-Benz involved in the accident was seen overturned on its right side, blocking the road, with parts and debris scattered all over the ground. Firefighters and traffic police were on the scene providing assistance, and the police are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Traffic was disrupted due to the accident.
