A burglary occurred on Silver Terrace Road in Clearwater Bay this morning (7/2). At 10:17 am today the police received a report from a woman in her 70s who said that she found signs of ransacking in a detached house in Bella Vista and suspected that it had been burgled.
Police officers responded to the report and, after a preliminary count, believed that approximately HK$100,000 in cash and a handbag worth approximately HK$120,000 were missing from the location. The case has been classified as a “burglary” and is being followed up by Team 6 of the Tseung Kwan O Police District Criminal Investigation Team. No arrests have been made so far.
