A once in a millennium event will occur today. Gravity on Earth will be weaken for about 10 seconds because of an alignment of the planets, according to Patrick Wong, spokesman for the Hong Kong Observatory. “It’s called the Jovian-Plutonian gravitational effect,” said Patrick, who has the same Christian name as the 1976 discoverer of the phenomenon, Patrick Moore.
At precisely 1147 hours on 1 April, you will be able to levitate, even fly, briefly, as gravity wobbles when the planets line up. “This will be an out of this world event,” SAI KUNG BUZZ’s Trevor Bailey said. “You can be sure a team of us from BUZZ will be on the waterfront near the pier ready for the fun. We want to fly, even if just for a second or two. Some of our people will dress up for the occasion as Captain Kirk, Dr Spock, Snoopy or Porco Rosso.”

“Good grief,” said Charlie Brown.
