Car overturns on Sai Sha Road, Sai Kung, causing traffic delays; driver injured

Around 6.15 am this morning (11/8), the driver of a car travelling along Sai Sha Road towards Sai Kung suddenly lost control. The car overturned near the Kei Ling Ha barbecue area. When rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance for treatment; police are investigating the cause of the accident.

The Transport Department announced that due to the accident, a one-lane two-way traffic measure were been implemented on Sai Sha Road near the Kei Ling Ha BBQ area (Sai Sha Road BBQ Site No. 6). Traffic at the site was congested for over an hour.
