Empty Bowls fundraising event back for 2026

The Empty Bowls fundraising event, an international initiative to fight hunger, is back for 2026. Last year the event raised over $20,000.

Potters, artists, and community members come together to make handcrafted bowls which they donate to a one evening event. Guests attending the event pay a ticket price ($180) and receive a bowl to keep, and soup from our restaurant sponsor The Picture House. The full ticket amount is donated to our food charity Food Angel.

The Empty Bowls Soup Dinner and subsequent bowl kept from the event serves as a reminder of all the bowls that go empty in our area each day.
