Six injured in early morning crash of the Mong Kok Flyer/Rocket

At about 2 o’clock this morning, a red minibus from Mong Kok to Sai Kung, commonly known as the Mong Kok Flyer or Rocket because of the reckless nature of its drivers, crashed on Clearwater Bay Road while  passing Ka Shue Road near Clear Water Bay Apartments. It ran out of control, crashed into the flower bed road partition, then hit a lamppost.

Police, fire and ambulance rushed to the scene and  six people rescued four men and two women passengers, who were slightly injured. They were sent to the United Christian Hospital. The police are investigating the incident and breathalysed the driver.
