Chris Ponniah: “Laid back is good”.

The Reverend Chris Ponniah will deliver a Christmas message and join in carol singing in the town centre on 25 December. The one-hour service by Resurrection Church begins at 10:00 am at Man Yee Playground in front of the restaurants. “We want to bring the Christmas spirit into the heart of Sai Kung, “Chris said. “This is a service for the community.”
Two guitarists, Chris Hanselmann and Stuart Morton, will lead the singing, while Judy Lim of the UST’s Campus Crusade for Christ will translate. “We are going to keep it simple, like singing around the piano. Informal, low key, friendly, laid back is good.” Chris lived 16 years in New Zealand and it shows. We asked the pastor if he will wear his priestly robes. “No, I will be in my casual Kiwi look.”
