Alert reader Shamima Loch has won a bottle of Montepulciano d’Abruzza awarded monthly by the Editors of SAI KUNG BUZZ. The gift from BUZZ is a way of thanking the best news contributor of the previous month. Shamima sent in a report lambasting the new Fusion “super-store” in Sai Kung Gardens. One of the things that exercised Shamima most was discovery of weevils or other insects in a bag of rice.
ParknShop’s PR team sent a lengthy reply to BUZZ and to Shamima admitting that insects can sometimes be found in grains and promising vigilance against a recurrence. Shamima’s criticism was one of the most widely viewed stories on SAI KUNG BUZZ during June, according to Google Analytics.
