Car crashes down 3 m slope on Clear Water Bay Road; driver trapped, rescued, hospitalised

Around 12:30 pm this afternoon (8/8), a car being driven along Clear Water Bay Road toward Sai Kung went out of control near Pan Long Wan village. The female driver reported that a person suddenly crossed the road from left to right, so she turned right to avoid him, crashed through the barriers and tumbled 3 metres down the slope.

She sustained a hand injury and was trapped inside the car. Rescue workers arrived at the scene to assist the driver, who was then taken to hospital by ambulance. The cause of the accident is still under police investigation.
