Activist makes Police report over threatening banner

Sai Kung activist Carol Ho has complained to the police twice over a threatening banner strung up in her village, Pak Kong.  Carol sent photos to HONG KONG BUZZ and asked us to report the matter.

For those who can’t read Chinese we are told the banner accuses Carol of fomenting dissent and tells her to leave the village.

Carol is a familiar sight on Sai Kung streets with her dog campaigning for recycling and against over-development of property.

BUZZ raised the matter with the Sai Kung police station, but received to reply.  The photos show, however, that the police acted.

Carol said the banner has now been taken down. She thinks by a neighbour, who disapproved of it.
