An empty tour bus crashed on Sai Sha Road this morning after the driver is suspected to have had a stroke while driving. As the bus was approaching Tai Tung Village the driver fell into a coma and crashed into the rear of another vehicle. The rear window of that vehicle was shattered, but the bus came to a halt.
An ambulance rushed to the scene and removed the driver and took him to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment. The driver was awake after a while, but his speech is unclear and he is suspected of having a stroke. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
