A homeowner in Wong Chuk Wan got a nasty surprise when she woke up around 7:45 am yesterday (21 November) morning. She noticed that the glass sliding door on her second floor bedroom had been prised open. She checked around and noticed that around HK$10,000, two watches, and five bottles of Chinese wine were missing. She and her helper had gone to bed around 1:00 am. Neither heard or saw anything during the night to alert them.
She alerted the police and Wong Tai Sin District crime investigation team is investigating. The three-storey house had no security measures in place, so CCTV information may be lacking.
