The SAR Philharmonic Orchestra will stage an online concert for the Haven of Hope Sister Annie Skau Holistic Care Centre and its myriad associated charities on 28 June. A spokesman for Haven of Hope told BUZZ that the first-ever “Love is in the Air Charity Online Concert” is the latest event in the 11-year collaboration between Haven of Hope Sister Annie Skau Holistic Care Centre.
Since its establishment in 2006, the Centre named after HoH’s founder, has cared for over 2,200 frail elderlies, chronically sick and late stage cancer patients, including over 350 poor and needy through its charity beds programme. “Upholding our Founder Sister Annie Skau’s spirit of following its slogan “Respecting life:Impacting life”, the Centre has brought comfort, dignity and peace to many patients in their last journey with love and comfort to their families”.
The online charity concert will be held at Clear Water Bay Golf and Country Club in Sai Kung and it will be broadcast online through YouTube and on the Haven of Hope Facebook page. It will be the first time the Philharmonic has performed for an online concert. The golf club is a long-time supporter of the Haven of Hope.
