Six injured when car and taxi collide head-on on Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung

A traffic accident occurred in Sai Kung this afternoon (11/5) around 12:45 pm. A taxi and a car were travelling along Tai Mong Tsai Road and when they arrived opposite the Tso Wo Hang Pier, the two cars collided head-on. The taxi driver was trapped in the car. Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving a report and rescued the trapped driver. He and the other five injured passengers were sent to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The cause of the accident remains to be investigated. Traffic was seriously affected by the incident with Tai Mong Tsai Road closed in both directions, and traffic in the nearby area was blocked.
