Two more visitors to Sai Kung injured in separate accidents

Two more visitors to Sai Kung’s country parks were injured in two separate accidents yesterday. It seems that the more visitors the area has the more frequent accidents are becoming.

Yesterday morning (27/9), a 42-year-old woman and a number of friends were on a “hiking and climbing bundling tour” in Tai Miu Wan, Clear Water Bay. She climbed with ropes along the coast and planned to go to Eagle Head Rock. The rope suddenly broke the victim fell injuring her head, hands and feet. Fortunately, she did not fall into the sea and was taken to the Eastern Hospital by helicopter for treatment. 

Mok Min Cave, Pak Lap Wan

Two hours later, the police received a report that a 45-year-old woman in had fallen from a height of 2 metres while hiking in the Mok Min Cave in Pak Lap Wan. The Government Flying Service helicopter arrived and flew her to Ruttonjee Hospital for treatment. She had no reported injuries.
