The Centre for Health Protection have notified five new cases of confirmed Covd-a9 infections in the Sai Kung area over the past week.
Case 6505 is a 60-year-old local main residing in Luk Mei Tsuen, confirmed on 3 December. Case 6506 is a 57-year-old man residing in Wong Cheuk Yeung Village confirmed also on 3 December. Case 6562 is a 31-year-old male living in Nam Shan Village also confirmed on 3 December.
Case 7241 is a 52-year-old local woman confirmed on 10 December, and Case 7414, a 48-year-old local man confirmed on 12 December, both living in Tseng Lan Shue Village.
Thankfully no-one in the local area has died of the virus and most have been discharged.
