Update on Covid-19 in Sai Kung and Clear Water Bay – 20 December

Centre for Health Protection have announced eight new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Sai Kung and Clear Water Bay area over the past five days.

Case 7554 is an 18-year-old local male resident Tseng Lan Shue confirmed on 14 December; he has been discharged from hospital.

Case 7787 a 9-year-old male resident of Leung Fai Tin Village confirmed on 16 December. Case 7836 is a 46-year-old local male also resident in Leung Fai Tin Village. Case 7837 is a 4-year-old male resident of Leung Fai Tin Village confirmed on 16 December. Case 7838 is a 43-year-old mail resident also from Leung Fai Tin Village, confirmed on 17 December. All are hospitalised.

Case 8003 is 33-year-old local male who visited The Portofino on 16 December. Case 8021 is a 35-year-old male resident of Tseng Hau Village, and Case 8026 is a 41-year-old male resident of Tseng Lan Sue Village. Current situation of these three cases is to be confirmed.

It is clear that two main clusters are appearing in Sai Kung and Clear Water Bay with four current cases in Tseng Lan Shue Village, and four more in Leung Fai Tin Village.
