A burglary occurred in Silverstrand Bay, Sai Kung around 10:00 pm last night (18/4). Police received a report from a 64-year-old man stating that when he returned to his detached house at Villa Horizon, Silver Spring Path, he was told by the maid that two strange men ran from the terrace of the detached house to the nearby hillside, and he suspected that the house had been burgled.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found that the window of the toilet was damaged and the bedside table in one of the bedrooms was damaged. The police conducted a patrol in the vicinity but found nothing. The case has been classified as “burglary” and has been handed over to the Tseung Kwan O Police District for follow-up. The losses are yet to be counted.
