Drive to catch dog poisoners, starting March with Tikitiki Bowling Bar

NAIL THE KILLER! That’s the message at TIKITIKI BOWLING BAR which is throwing its considerable weight behind the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animal’s drive to catch Hong Kong’s dog poisoners. Every Saturday in March Tikitiki will donate it’s bowling revenue to the SPCA’s fund, which is approaching $500,000. Tikitiki is also the co-host of the HONG KONG BUZZ Concert for the Animals (aka The Pound Party), which will be back shortly after the government allows large gatherings. If you also hate, ahem, expletives who leave poisoned meat to kill dogs get along to Tikitiki on a Saturday soon so your bowling money will go towards the SPCA’s fund.
Dog poisonings are infuriatingly rife in Hong Kong at present. Five dogs have died after walking with family members in Cyberport waterfront park. The chicken left to kill dogs looks purple because of the poison. Other poisonings have occurred at Repulse Bay and Black’s Link on the island. Locally there was a case a week or so ago at Ta Ho Tun, Sheung Wai. A resident called the police who covered the poisoned meat with traffic cones and called a crime investigation unit.

As part of its effort to raise money for the SPCA by increasing the bowling revenue, Tikitiki will also give 5000 Fun Bucks to the bowler who scores the highest on each of the Saturday’s in March. These Fun Bucks can be spent in any venue at Centro including the Car Wash and food delivery from any of Centro’s three kitchens.
The huge food, beverage and entertainment complex aptly named “CENTRO DESTINATION FUN” is located at the corner of Po Tung Rd.
“March is an exciting month for us,” Arndt, the General Manager, said. “We are going to have live music back in a big way, at every venue in the building. Our in-house band leader Frankie Hollywood will be rattling the rafters again along with the Tikibirds.”

Bowling at Tikitiki can be very inexpensive and does not cost an arm and a leg like everywhere else. An hour of bowling costs just $49 per lane per hour Monday to Friday 12 – 4pm and $99 from 4 – 8 pm and weekends only $199 an hour.
