Who will be the winners of the 2020 Proverse Prize and 2021 Proverse Poetry Prize?

The winners of the 2020, and finalists of the 2021, Proverse Prize and Proverse Poetry Prize will be announced on 18 November at the Helena May in Central. All tickets are currently sold-out, but if you’ve not got a ticket, you can still attend! Proverse will be webcasting the event live on their YouTube channel! Subscribe for free to be informed when the playlist is released. Or go to the channel while the live event is unfolding, 7:30-8:30 pm, to watch it being broadcast live.

The Proverse Prize winner will get their entry published by Proverse Hong Kong and a cash prize of HKD10,000.00. awarded on publication of the winning work(s).

The Proverse Poetry prize consists of – 1st prize; USD100.00; 2nd prize: USD45.00; 3rd prizes (up to four winners): USD20.00 each. Prize-winning entries will be published on the website, proversepublishing.com and/or in a
paperback and/or Ebook anthology and/or in a Proverse E-newsletter no later than one year after the closing date for entries.

  4. Live and Zoom Readings by Winners, Finalists and Semi-Finalists of Proverse Prize and Proverse Poetry Prize 2021, plus selected Proverse Authors

The prize was established in 2008 at The Proverse Prize Dinner, held in Hong Kong, and entries were received for the first competition in the summer of 2009. As of November 2020, seven women and ten men have won or shared the Prize.
