Little Palm beach, Silverstrand, Sai Kung
This afternoon (18/9) a man and a woman swimming close to Little Palm Beach in Silverstrand, Sai Kung were hit by a jet ski. Police received a report that the two swimmers were injured around 12:30 pm.
The two victims were still conscious and were rescued by other swimmers close by. Rescue boats rushed to the scene and carried the injured back to the Marine Police Base opposite Sai Kung, where they were transferred to ambulances for hospital treatment. The male victim needed to wear a neck brace and had to be transported on a stretcher.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
