Two ex-pats arrested after punch-up on Sai Kung street

Early this morning police received a report that two men were fighting outside Sai Kung Government Offices in Chan Man Street. They found a 19-year-old American and a 38-year-old Briton shouting at each other and attacking each other with their fists. The police officers arrived at the scene around 1:20 am and tried to stop the fight. After issuing verbal warnings to no avail, they subdued them with pepper spray.

After investigation, both were arrested for fighting in a public place, and the case was handed over to the Wong Tai Sin District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. It is understood that the two men smelled of alcohol and did not know each other. They had no facial injuries and refused to be sent to the hospital for treatment.
