Keystone Cops on Clear Water Bay Road (with video)

Two police motorbikes collided in Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung yesterday afternoon (16/5). The police officer in front was thrown off the bike due to the crash. The accident was videoed by a netizen when he heard sirens approaching the congested traffic near Ah Kung Wan village.

The video (below) shows the two police officers trying to ride between the congested traffic in the middle of the road when the front bike suddenly stops and the rear bike drives into the back, throwing the front rider over the handle bars.

Police colleagues went to the scene to investigate, and listed the case as “a traffic accident where someone was injured – a police officer was injured”. The policeman suffered a wrist injury and was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.

Many netizens compared the incident to something from a movie reminiscent of Keystone Cops when iy was uploaded online.
