A traffic accident occurred in Sai Kung at 8:06 am this morning (8/9), when a lorry travelling along Sai Sha Road towards Sai Kung tried to avoid a 15m tree that had just collapsed across the road near Kei Ling Ha San Wai. The driver lost control of the lorry and crashed into a roadside lamppost.
The left side of the vehicle sustained significant damage, and the windshield was shattered. Rescue workers arrived at the scene and confirmed no injuries. They then moved the damaged lamppost and tree off the road. Traffic was temporarily disrupted by the incident
