Videos have appeared on social media over the past few days after an altercation between drivers due to a road rage dispute. In one video, a driver of a BMW, with tattoos on both arms, is seen standing next to the driver’s seat of a seven seater van, arguing with the driver. Both parties are pointing fingers at each other. The driver of the van tries to open the door, but was blocked by the tattooed man with his foot.

Another video shows the suspected drivers of the two vehicles involved in the incident where the driver of the BMW attacks the van driver. He kicked the van driver in the head five times, during which time the shoe he was wearing on his left foot also flew off.

Sai Kung Police stated that at around 6:00 pm on Tuesday (27/8), a citizen reported that two men were fighting at the junction of Tai Mong Tsai Road and Sha Kok Mei Road in Sai Kung. After receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. It was believed that the incident was caused after an argument over a driving dispute.

The 54-year-old BMW driver suffered injuries to his head and right fingers, and the 38-year old van driver suffered pain in his head, face and hands. They were sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance for treatment. After police investigation, both were arrested on suspicion of “fighting in a public place”.
