Online media are reporting that a shoe thief made of with a pair of Nike Air Maestro II Ltd shoes in Pak Kong on the night of 15 December, around 1:30 am. Covered in black from head to toe, the thief was seen on a nearby CCTV. It seems he opened up a 1 m high fence surrounding a house in the village, scanned the contents of the shoe rack, and then, within 15 seconds picked out the “rare”* Nike pair. The pair stolen are currently worth around $759 online.
It seems that this is not the first time that shoes have been stolen in the village. Police are investigating.
