A large-scale mural project “Picture of 100 Cats in Sai Kung Neighbourhoods”, planned by the Sai Kung District Affairs Office since January this year, was unveiled to the public on Saturday (28/9). Around 300 photos of cats were collected from residents in Sai Kung District and after multiple rounds of screening, the cat photos were combined with artistic designs rich wih Sai Kung elements to create the “Picture of 100 Cats in Sai Kung Neighbourhoods”.
The District Council specially printed a notepad and picnic mat with pictures of hundreds of cats to express their gratitude to the cat lovers. HIR Studio founder Howard Chung and illustrator Chia-Min Wu also shared their journey of painting the mural over the past few months.
