A car accident occurred on Hiram’s Highway around 11:00 pm last night (2/10) near Lion’s Nature Education Centre at Pak Kong, Sai Kung when a driver lost control, crossed the centre line and crashed into a road construction site, destroying an approximately 8-metre barrier in the process.
The front of the car fell into the site excavation with the rear of the car was raised and unable to move.
Emergency rescue workers rushed to the scene after receiving the report. The 21-year-old female driver injured in her right hand, and after being bandaged, she was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
