Car hits roadside railings in Tai Hang Tun, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung and overturns; driver arrested for drunk driving

A drunk driving incident occurred in Clear Water Bay on Sunday morning (27/10) about 4:00 am when a car travelling south along Clear Water Bay Road crashed and overturned.

As it approached Tai Hang Tun, the car was suspected of crashing into an approximately two-metre-long steel roadside fence before it overturned. Officers at the scene found that the 51-year-old male driver smelled of alcohol. After preliminary investigation, the man failed the alcohol breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

He is currently being detained for investigation. No one was injured in the case.
