Resurrection Church has been granted approval for use of the plaza in front of the Tin Hau Temple in Sai Kung, Rev. Lucas Durant said. “Therefore we will hold our traditional lessons and carols service on the Tin Hau Temple plaza on 22 December at 4:45 pm. There will be some brass musicians providing musical accompaniment, but the main attraction will be the people of Sai Kung lifting up their voices together in some of the best loved traditional Christmas carols. So come  ready to hear the Christmas story retold through a series of readings, to reflect on its relevance to our lives, to sing heartily in response and to converse together at the end over a cup of mulled wine and a sweet treat.”

In addition, there will be some other Christmas celebrations at Resurrection this year, including a Christmas Eve open house at the Vicarage, and an initiative for church members to welcome those who are on their own for Christmas into their Christmas Day festivities.  Details can be found on the church website – resurrection.org.hk/events
