Three metre long tree branch falls on Porsche on Clear Water Bay Road, causing serious damage; driver escapes injury

A Porsche sports car was driving towards Sai Kung along Clear Water Bay Road around 5:00 am this morning (9/5) when a tree branch about three metres long suddenly fell onto the car. The driver managed to pull over near the Sinopec petrol station and called the police for help. Fortunately he was not injured.

The sports car was severely damaged, with a dent in the middle of the front windshield, the bonnet was damaged with parts were falling off, and the rear windshield was also shattered. The fallen tree branch was about 3 metres long and 25 cm thick. It was then sawed into small pieces and moved aside by emergency services. with a towing company taking the vehicle.
